Throughout Jesus' ministry he went about proclaiming that the Kingdom of God was at hand. This proclamation went hand and hand with his demonstration of the kingdom by forgiving sin, showing extravagant love, healing the sick, and casting out demons. As followers of Jesus we get to announce the nearness of his kingdom to others as the King himself works in and through our lives.
