Muhammed explains that just as complex design (like a table or the pyramids) requires a maker, the universe—being far more complex—must have an intelligent, powerful Creator. He argues that science explains how things work but cannot explain ultimate origins, and that through observation of the universe's complexity and design, we can infer God's existence without needing to see Him. He presents the Quran as divine revelation proven by scientific foreknowledge (expanding universe, embryology, water and life) and fulfilled prophecies (Arabs building tallest buildings, spread of Islam), and addresses the problem of evil by explaining this life is a test requiring free choice between good and evil, with hardships serving to remove sins, raise ranks in Paradise, and help us appreciate blessings.
