The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs delivered a strong all-around performance Feb. 6, defeating the Luling Eagles 65–31 at home. Nixon-Smiley controlled the game from start to finish, using defensive pressure and unselfish play to build a comfortable lead and extend it throughout the night. Joe White led the Mustangs with 17 points, 6 assists, and 7 steals, setting the tone on both ends of the floor.
