Mutant City Horror

The big 1, 0. Mathius the iLL and Rated-PG have finally made it to a double digit season!!

This episode we sit down over drinks and talk about John Douglass' and Buddy Cooper's 1984 cult classic - The Mutilator.

We had a good time with this one. The kill scenes were awesome and a bit creative. Plus there has never been a better opening theme song for a horror movie than this one, we guarantee it!

FINALLY - the return of Mathius the iLL. MCH is back with a fun "tribute" to Alien.

This episode we review Full Moon Pictures very own "Creepozoids" from 1987, directed by David DeCoteau.

This one was fun to watch. Really low budget and you can see just how low with all of the horrible b-roll, and repeat sets.

Linnea Quigley's first crack at producing, and with her as a main character, we get to see LOTS of Linnea Quigley - as per usual.

Great practical effects, lots of blood and guts. Come check it out with us!

This one is the interviews we conducted at 2023 CreepI,E. Con - we talked to a some really great artists and saw some really great merch. The audio is a bit fucked up on the interviews. The mic we used I guess isn't the best (no mic shaming but, looking to get some new shit [fingers crossed - DJI Mic here we come]). Used it once, shame on them, used it twice, shame on me.

Make sure you check out all the vendors - that have some really great merch. Check them out:

OH SNAP - 2023 Creep I.E. Con at the Ontario Convention Center. Bummed that Mathius the iLL was unable to attend this year but he was there in spirit! Rated-PG spent some time talking to vendors about all of their spooky/scary crafts.

There was some really cool shit there this year and plenty of talent to go around. Terrifier 2 cast reunion, Scream cast reunion and a sprinkle of House of 1000 Corpses cast members, along with plenty others.

This episode is our review of Day 1. We were gonna do a day 2 recap but, there were not interactions with talent to be had so instead the second part will be recorded interviews with different vendors. That'll be out next week (on time).

Enjoy!

Got a shorty for you this episode. Missed Mathius the iLL on this one. Rated-PG ran solo with a review on the Mystic Museum in Burbank, CA and the 90's Slashers exhibit they have there.

Some cool shit. If you go, try and also do the other exhibit they have down the street. Let us know what you liked and or picked up and check the instagram @mutantcityhorror for the pics!

Damn, this is a long one. Mathius the Ill and Rated-PG sit down to talk about and review Jennifer Lynch's 2008 "Surveillance".

Starring Bill Pullman, Michael Ironside, Julia Ormond, French Stuart, Cheri Oteri.

This one was a really good one. There was a lot to the movie, which was almost two hours so unpacking it all took the same amount of time. Definitely one everyone needs to watch.

Mathius the Ill and Rated PG go all in on William Asher's 1981 - Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker. Starring Jimmy McNichol, Susan Tyrrell, Bo Svenson, with a small introduction to the late, great, mother fuckin' Bill Paxton!

Probably our favorite movies so far - BBNM is a story about Aunt Cheryl who's got a crazy obsession with her nephew Billy and won't let anyone come between them.

Available to stream on Shudder

Mathias the Ill and Rated-PG light the shamash for this year's Hanukkah by sitting down over drinks to talk about Eben McGarr's 2019 "Hanukkah".

Staring MCH favorites like Sid Haig (RIP), Dick Miller (RIP), Charles Fleischer, and Halloween/Carrie alum, P.J. Soles. Probably the only good thing about this movie.

Chag Sameach!

Mathis the Ill and Rated-PG sit down with special guest, Weirdo Daryl to enjoy America's holiday - ThanksKILLING.

Join us as we venture through Jordan Downey's 2008 maiden film about a killer turkey on the loose during Thanksgiving break.

This shit was hilarious. Not on purpose but, you can tell they knew what they were doing. "Gobble Gobble, Mother F**kers"...

Mathis the Ill and Rated-PG sit down for their Season 2 opener with their annual Halloween start. This season we open with Damien Leone's 2013 All Hallows' Eve.

If you're a Terrifier fan, make sure you watch this shit. This way you can call out all the other Terrifier "FANS" who don't know where Art started.
