"The Qur'an tells us what to do. The Prophet's example (uswatun hasanah) shows us how to do it. Hadiths are historical records of that 'how' — beneficial, but fallible."

This principle guides the Qur'an-First Approach (QFA) adopted by Masjid Al-Bayyinah and the Indigenous Muslim American Muur Society (IMAMS). We uphold the Qur'an as the direct, unaltered word of Allah, while recognizing the Prophet Muhammad (ص) as a living example of Qur'anic practice. Hadith literature, though valuable, is a human effort to capture this practice after the Prophet's lifetime.

Guiding Philosophy

Islam was never meant to be divided. Yet what do we find today? Sects upon sects, each claiming to be "the saved group," while branding others as misguided. This book is my journey out of that confusion—a rejection of sectarian Islam and a return to the pure, unifying message of the Qur'an.

I am not a Sunni. I am not a Shi’i. I am not Sufi, Salafi, or affiliated with any school of thought. I am simply a Muslim. I am a follower of the dīn al-ḥaqq as revealed in the Qur'an, which is the only fully preserved and divinely sanctioned source of guidance for mankind.
