Throughout parts of the Southwestern United States, Mexico, Latin America, and Puerto Rico, tales of the legendary Chupacabra run rampant. Folks share tales of sightings of the creature with glowing red eyes and large fangs, who lurks in the forest and preys on livestock and farm animals. Many residents are fearful the Chupacabra, which translates to “Goat Sucker”, is an animal vampire, sucking the blood out of its prey. However, is the Chupacabra real and why were sightings only reported as far back as the 1990s?

Our special guest, Benjamin Radford, is the world’s leading authority on the Chupacabra. He is literally an expert on the topic as he spent over 5 years researching the Chupacabra, traveling to all parts of the world to conduct interviews, field research, and forensic analysis. He authored the most  authoritative book on the Chupacabra, Tracking the Chupacabra: The Vampire Beast in Fact, Fiction, and Folklore (2011).

This episode is short and sweet, but very interesting. Everyone can at least agree that Dragons are cool mythical creatures. Whether or not they actually existed, however, is debatable. We're back and jumping right into our season on Cryptids! We figured we'd get the big guy out of the way for our first episode: Yup, we're talking about Bigfoot!  How could we not? He is, after all, the Hide and Seek Champion of the World! However, this time, we decided to include some audio that claims to contain noises from Bigfoot (Bigfeet?) in the forest. You probably thought the Mothman sightings ended back in 1966 or 1967 when the alleged winged creature was claimed to have been seen in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The last mass-reported sightings of the Mothman ended following the Silver Bridge Collapse, which claimed the lives of 46 people. However, it seems to have resurfaced (ALLEGEDLY), with more recent sightings in Ohio and Chicago and apparently, the witnesses have pictures. Well, we have questions!
