Bingham's work mainly focuses on the 1969-1970 school year, which begins in August with the Woodstock concert and the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. From there, we discuss events such as the My Lai Massacre, the killings at Kent State and Jackson State, and the violence of the Weather Underground, as well as figures such as Daniel Ellsberg, Seymour Hersh, Tom Hayden, Abbie Hoffman, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dorn, and Bobby Seale.
