Wounds are inevitable because people need people, and the same closeness that brings blessing also opens the door for harm, but healing is optional and requires a willingness to address the pain rather than hiding behind pretense or running to the next person, job, or situation. A scar is the destiny of every wound and a testament that healing took place, and sometimes choosing temporary pain through surrender to God's process is the only path to true freedom and wholeness.
