Welcome to a bonus episode of the Love Live Connection podcast! This feels extra special because this is the first episode I’ve recorded since giving birth. As much as this is my business and livelihood, it’s also my creative outlet. So it’s really good to be back podcasting and working with old and new clients again.
Usually, I look back and share some highs and lows (professionally and personally) at the end of the year. But this year has definitely been one for the history books and not one we want to re-live! Since I’ve always liked hearing other people’s birth stories, instead of the usual I thought I’d share with you my birth and fourth-trimester stories instead.
3:20 – Enduring a painful prenatal procedure involving “sweeping the membranes”
11:49 - Why I wanted to avoid an epidural and taking a morphine nap
23:15 - Surprising news, undergoing a big fear of mine, and seeing my baby for the first time
28:40 - Why I couldn’t hold my baby boy for 12 hours
35:19 - Realizing all the dogma about newborn care and delivery doesn’t matter
I hope you enjoyed this episode! Find me on Instagram or email me with your feedback. I look forward to hearing from you!
