Hello, everyone! I am your host, Ciara J! Welcome, to the “My Black Perspective” Podcast; formally known as, “Respect Her Perspective.”

For this episode, I just wanted to come on here and explain, why I decided to change the title of my previous Podcast and allow my listeners to get to know me.

I don’t think I ever talked about myself in much detail before on this show, which is hard for me to do, because, first of all, I don’t know what to say. Honestly, I am a private person.

2020 is over, and I want to move on. This episode is dedicated to the Heroes that we lost, and to anyone that lost a loved one due to Covid-19. May God bless you and this country. 

It's been proven more times than not, that black women are the least protected and respected within the black-community and in society as a whole.  In this episode, I would like to give my perspective on this topic and discuss some headline news as it relate to black women and their experiences.  

Over the last few weeks, racial injustice and police brutality once again has been recorded and this time, it shook the world. Unfortunately, another innocent and unarmed black man has lost his life, to someone who was hired to protect, but not taught to serve the black community. This episode, was created to express my thoughts and give my perspective on yet another tragic murder of another black man, that was simply just being a black man in America.
