My Buddy's Backlog

It's mid-spooky season and this week we're taking some time to reflect on all things horror. We've each prepared a list of old classics, new favorites, overlooked gems, and everything in between!

Join us as we celebrate the season and afterwards Gavin puts us to the test with a video game trivia quiz related to the very games we brought to discuss.

Join us this week for a gentleman's discussion over the merits of AI assisted game modding, native (kindof?) ports of PS4/5 games, and everybody's new favorite Star Wars character.

For the first time ever Gavin and Mat play 20 questions as a team, will they prove to be the strongest team yet?

Gavin has fallen in love with Returnal and is staking his claim on a long-term backlog game: SAROS!

SPOILER ALERT: This week My Buddy's Backlog takes a field trip to the local cinema to catch the newest Zach Cregger RESIDENT EVIL movie! In this backlog after dark episode we'll break down the movie and how we felt about it.

Also featured in this special BAD: order of operations post shower, spooky movie lists, and what we've been playing so make sure to check it out!

This week my buddy's backlog explores an entire new DIMENSION. The first new Minecraft dimension in 15 years as well as several other topics such as thin VR glasses vs chonky and the (non-?) intrusiveness of Discord's age verification!

Our special segment will reveal who is actuall a good friend to Mat and afterwards Ryan is prepping for spooky season with our backlog game of the week: Alan Wake 2!

This week we start with canned cheeseburgers, overpriced pokemon cards, new puppies, new kitties, and that's all before getting into the games!

Come join us and we'll break down both Xbox and Bungie's plans for the future, Wolverine's patch smell-o-vision, and our games of the week!

Afterwards Mat's backlog game throws us into the "Killzone"

Mat starts this episode with some explosive news for the boys...

Then the boys break down Resident Evil's cinematic missteps, a Ryan-driven VR hardware rabbit-hole, ludicrously expensive aircraft DLC for MS Flight Simulator, and more!

Join us for a rocking listener mail question 🤘and then our backlog discussion of the week - Resident Evil 4!
