Productivity and motivation come in spurts. So do funks. We have to ride them out, optimize the highs, endure the lows.

June turned out more potato-y than I would have liked. So I found (or rather the algorithm found for me) the Unpotato course. Here it is for those wanting to follow along.

Overall, I feel more confident than when I started bullet journaling, and my mindset is 100% improved. My marriage has benefitted from better communication. I can improve in my discipline and refining my goals. I hope migration will help me work through the latter.

I learned much of what I know about bullet journaling from social media, but Ryder Carroll's book gave me insight as to why we bullet journal. From writing by hand to being ruthless with our to-dos, Ryder Carroll's method helps us live a move intentional life by focusing our time on what matters to us.

Bullet journaling has evolved ever since the method took off and a community developed. For instance, did you know The Bullet Journal does not include weekly spreads? And in the book, Ryder Carroll recommends using just any old notebook you have lying around? 

All around, a good read for anyone who's already embarked on their journey, or who may be considering it.

My rut from March carried me through April. I struggled creatively with my design for April, and it just snowballed from there. The design of my habit trackers left me confused and unable to track my habits, whereby I realized my habit trackers are a keystone habit which facilitate my journaling.
