Okay my friends I have been in recruiting for over 20+ years and if there’s one thing I have said over and over during my career when asked for job search advice it’s that you can not simply apply to jobs and expect to get a call back. Especially right now with over 40M people who are all applying to jobs daily. There is is a ton of competition and as I mentioned on last weeks Wednesday Job Search episode you have to make it super obvious that you’re the best fit for the job. 

Hey listeners it’s Gordon with My Career Fit. We are now over 3 months into the Global Pandemic and while businesses are opening up again unemployment is continuing to rise. As of this recording the U.S. has over 45M people unemployed. That number is staggering.
