On this episode Phillip is joined by his friends Tim Martin and Arsenio Alverez III. (Unfortunately Chip is not on this episode.) It's a very special episode where Phillip, Tim, and Arsenio start the show by talking about how hard it is to make a short film, the love of film, and the short films that Tim and Arsenio have been working on. After introducing Tim and Arsenio, Phillip then starts the conversation by asking several questions for them to discuss (play along if you want); What movie or incident made you want to become a filmmaker?, As a movie lover would you rather lose your sight or lose your hearing?, What was the first movie that you saw in the theater?, Who are your top five favorite directors?, Who are your top five favorite actors?, What are your top five favorite movies?, and What is a movie or scene in a movie that really stuck with you? They were even able to have Chip participate with answers that he sent in to the show. Also Phillip reads some answers by one of the frequent listeners, Brandt. Phillip then gives his Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; F/X (1986). They wrap up the show by talking about Tim and Arsenio's short films. It's a really great conversation especially if you are a movie lover.
Come back next week when Phillip and Chip dive deep into Hell or High Water (2016).
