They then read listener comments, from instagram and Facebook, about Spies Like Us. The two then discuss the 1985  John Landis directed, Spies Like Us. They dive deep into their thoughts on the movie and give some fun facts about it as well.

The two then discuss the fact that Phillip has never seen the Disney movie Hercules. So Phillip says that he will watch it for the next show and Chip says that he will rewatch Jackie Brown. Then Phillip and Chip dive into the 2016 Shane Black written and directed The Nice Guys, starring Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling. They read some listener comments about the film and then they talk about some of their favorite parts as Phillip reads off some fun little facts throughout. It's another good one.

On this episode, Phillip runs solo, because he accidentally deleted the recording of him and his cousin Chip. I assure you though that Chip will be back next Wednesday. On this episode Phillip reads a comment about a listener who watched True Romance for the 1st time. He then pays his respects to an actor who passed away at 106, named Norman Lloyd. Then he dives into Kiss Kiss Bang Bang the 2005 movie that was written and directed by Shane Black, the guy that brought us Lethal Weapon, The Last Boyscout, and The Long Kiss Goodnight. Phillip also reads listener's opinions of the film, with a new intro. It's a fun time. However, Phillip did forget to rate it while recording. He gives the movie 4.5 Celluloid Hearts and Chip gives it 5 Celluloid Hearts.

On this 100th episode of the podcast, which is a one off and not connecting two movies, Phillip and his cousin Chip start the show out by making some corrections from the last episode. Then Phillip tells a story about how he planned a robbery like Hudson Hawk back around the time that this movie came out, but never pulled it off because he couldn't figure out what song to sing. Then they dive into the 1991 Bruce Willis passion project that is Hudson Hawk. They read listener comments of what they think of the movie and they sprinkle in some facts about the movie throughout. This movie may not be everyone's favorite, but Phillip and Chip like it a lot. 

The podcast will be taking about a month off and will be back on June 16th with shows set up until the end of the year. We are very excited for the movies and shows that are coming.

On this week's episode Phillip and his cousin Chip discuss a movie that is oozing Tarantino, but is not directed by him. True Romance was written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott, and boy is it good. So strap in and let us take you on the ride that some call "the Bonnie and Clyde of the 90s." This movie means so much to so many, and touches these co-host in the best way possible. It's another good one.

Then come back on May 5th for another movie written, but not directed by Quentin Tarantino...From Dusk Till Dawn from 1996.

On this second parter of trying to get children back, Phillip and Chip dive into the first feature film directed by Steven Spielberg; The Sugarland Express from 1974. It's available right now on HBOMax and is a great little movie that was inspired by true events. So kick back and listen as we dive deep into the movie and sprinkle in some facts to go with it.
