On this episode of the podcast Phillip and his cousin Chip are joined by Jason Bromley of Popcorn Promises. Phillip introduces Chip and Jason to each other and then they start to reminiscent about all the episode up until now, and their favorite parts and movies so far. It's a fun loose episode and they all had fun. So join them as you remember all the good times had listening to My Celluloid Heart Podcast. After Jason leaves, Phillip and Chip talk about how important they are to each other. Phillip then gives his Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Then they talk about their new podcast called Making Tarantino: The Podcast which starts on January 20th, 2023. So they say goodbye to this podcast and hello to another adventure and podcast. On this episode Phillip is joined by his buddy Jason from Popcorn Promises Podcast, because Chip is busy this week. Phillip and Jason start the show by paying respect to Mike Hodges who we lost earlier in the week. They give the general information about 2012's Django Unchained, and then read listener opinions from Instagram. Then they dive into the walkthrough of the movie while sprinkling in some facts throughout. It's then time for them to rate the movie. The new podcast will be the two of them going through a list of movies Quentin Tarantino has recommended. They are excited to be starting the new podcast. This podcast will be ending, but will continue through Youtube if necessary. They also announce that a friend of the show has released his short film onYoutube called Whispers. On this episode, Phillip is by himself and reintroduces a rerun of an episode from 2019. He put a lot of work into the research and writing the script for this episode. The point of this episode was what Quentin Tarantino means to Phillip, and the rabbit holes he went down from the references and influences in Tarantino movies. It's a great episode.
