My name is Karyn Inder and welcome to The Model Tongue Podcast. A podcast where we discuss all things mental health, mental illness, body positivity, self worth and the importance of finding your voice.

In today’s episode, I share my complicated IVF experience as someone who struggles with multiple Mental Health Disorders. This story ends well, but in my opinion, was unnecessarily cruel at times. I experienced first hand, how inaccessible reproductive health care can be for future or intended parents who struggle with their mental health. Claire helps me emphasize the importance of self advocacy and offers support as I share some things about my IVF cycle that never should have happened. I hope that my experiences will both educate and bring awareness to medical professionals in the fertility industry, on how they can be more inclusive and trauma informed.
