GOD'S  WILL: TO BLESS YOU

A Blessing is the supernatural manifestation of the Power of God spoken by someone with delegated authority over your life. God has authority  over His Children and he speaks blessing over us. When you speak words over your children or over your spouse or anywhere you have authority there is something that happens in the Spirit.

Jesus criticizes the Jewish lawyers for taking away the key of knowledge.

Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering. - Luke 11:52

“You have taken away the key to knowledge,” i.e. the knowledge of God contained in the OT Scriptures which the scribes were supposed to unlock for God’s people

A key indicates control or authority; therefore, having the Key of David would give one control of David’s domain, i.e., Jerusalem, the City of David, and the kingdom of Israel. 

Revelation 3:7 - “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens."

Possessing the “keys of death” means that the risen Christ has control and authority over death.

"(Jesus says) “I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” - Revelation 1:18

No spiritual breakthrough is greater or more important than receiving salvation by faith in Christ and what He did on the cross for us.

"so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:10 (NET)

Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven

Keys are used to lock and unlock doors. God has given us the authority to open and shut the doors of heaven

God’s might makes you strong!

"…be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might" Ephesians 6:10

Why should we be strong and Courageous?

Many times we feel so overwhelmed we have a hard time thinking about how to seek strength from the Lord. Either we are overcome with grief, or disappointment, or just plain weariness. 7 Things we can do to receive strength from God.

Jesus’ upside-down approach to our world. It is the way of his grace.

We live in a world where the biggest, best, and brightest succeed, while the littlest, last, and least get trampled. But Jesus disrupts and interrupts our quest for power and our lust for significance.

What Is the Joy of the Lord? Strength comes by having the joy of the Lord

"This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10
