About Susan:

Susan Holtz is retired and happily married, but only in the last year has finally been coming to terms with her gender identity after over 50 years of confusion and self-denial.  Through an intensive period of self-discovery, she is developing a presence as Susan in society.  She is embarking on a path toward true authenticity, honesty with herself and with others, self-acceptance, and striving for a sense of balance, meaning, and a sense of purpose in this new persona.  

About Audry:

The Chicago Gender Society was first formed in 1987 and has made a major impact on Audry's life since joining in 1995.  She has since shared the story of her journey over the years in their Primrose Newsletter, has served on the board for nine years as Treasurer, Vice President and is in her third term as President.

Audry defines herself as dual gender, which for her means that most of her personal life is happily spent in male mode, though she has transitioned at work as Audry. She shared her truth with her family late last year and the result has been rocky but is still a work in progress.

Both DeeDee and her brother had prostate issues that required testosterone blockers but unlike her brother, DeeDee's body started to feminize about a year after taking her prostate medication in slow but very dramatic ways.  Even after decades of living as a married, part-time trans woman (out only to her spouse), this transformation kept her digging until she discovered she was a DES Son.  This discovery lead DeeDee down one of the happiest paths of her trans life, not only transforming her own self-awareness but bringing new depths and happiness to her marriage that she never before imagined.  DeeDee shares this journey of self-discovery live with our audience who shares their own stories about being DES Sons.
