My Friend's Friends

In this mini-sode, we wrap up last week’s hangout with AJ + Frazier. There are some polarizing opinions about sauce, as well as an exciting discussion about favorite video games from the past and what we’re playing now.

In this episode, we answer the next question from Dr. Arthur Arron’s list of 36 questions, “Name three things you and your partner (or in our case, friend) appear to have in common.” We surprise each other with our answers and go into a deep-dive on LA life. Our Mad Libs game is equal parts kooky and impressive — part two of this hang on the way for our next group episode!

In this Salt + Pepper episode, we start to discuss the book we're reading together on...you guessed it...friendship! While Paris was in Italy with Simone, "Big Friendship" by Aminatou Sow and Ann Friedman arrived. Already Simone's copy has notes in the margins and Paris even paused on her walk to underline a sentence. And that was just the prologue and first chapter!

In this episode, we answer the next question from Dr. Arthur Arron’s list of 36 questions, “Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die?” After some simultaneously morbid and light-hearted musings, we get into what we’re watching and reading right now for some entertainment inspiration.

Finally, what we’ve all been waiting for, an episode with a cameo from André! In this Salt + Pepper episode, the three of us sit around one microphone in one very hot room in Perugia where get deep about jokes, moms, spending time together, and of course, food.

We get philosophical this week as we ruminate on the human condition. Then we get a little silly when we spring a pop quiz on our friends about International Friendship Day!

In the sixth episode, a Salt + Pepper edition, Simone + Paris sit thigh to thigh in the same hot room in Italy and record an episode. We talk about how Simone is a Texas girl at heart and how Paris’ favourite part of being in Italy is working in the same house as two other people. This is the serious down and dirty get to know you kinda friendship stuff.

Get ready for some singing and games because Gina + Sandra join Paris + Simone for a lively time! In this episode, we answer the fifth question from Dr. Arthur Arron’s list of 36 questions, “When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?” Then, we’re in for a special treat — Sandra brought a game that she made herself and we try to guess film titles with a twist!

We did a thing! In the fourth episode, a Salt + Pepper edition, Simone + Paris discuss the podcast release, what is and isn’t taboo to talk about in other countries, and why Paris isn’t a dog person. Send us a love letter and tell us about making friends in different countries, your enneagram type, and if you’re on team cat or dog — or team BOTH!

In this episode, we ask each other, “What would constitute a perfect day for you?”, play, “Oracle”, a game where we try to answer life’s biggest questions one word at a time, and talk about what friendship means to us.
