I talk about how my front steps were finally finied and how the guy who did them overcharged me then asked me for more money as a bonus and then left and came back yesterday, so he could get paid in cash immediately.  What a douchebag.  I chose to pay him and be done.  That is no way to do business!  I would have kept hiring him had he not been so many things -- unreliable, greedy, whining ....  Ugh!

So I've prepared the house as much as I could for my parents' imminent arrival.  I have a fair amount of angst about their coming.  I will do my best to make the experience pleasant.
