“My Goat Story” is the third official video in my new series, “Finding Forward in Grief.” Here, I discuss the backstory on my now fifty-goat-herd!!!! Yes, I know it’s a lot of goats, but when you hear how these lovely creatures helped me keep moving through that first initial “summer of grief” after my 19 year old daughter was struck head-on by a drunk driver, and how they got a bit out of control this past summer as I dealt with the additional death of my next oldest child, you just might understand… Grief is already complicated, and often, when you think you are doing ok, life tends to throw you another curve ball.
