A traveling photographer adopts her, a grieving family takes Mattie, and a wealthy couple claims Molly. Keeping her parents' ribbon-wrapped love letters, Maelle entrusts the fading family picture to Mattie and the well-worn family Bible to Molly. And, in a tearful parting, Maelle vows to one day find her younger siblings.

Excellent!
A trip to the past through the eyes of Irish immigrants. Love, loss, and trials grab the heart and make this book unforgettable.
Love the narrators Irish brogue
Great story about the orphan trains and an immigrant family. Loved the narration Heather O'Neil did an excellent job. You can never go wrong with a book written by Kim Vogel Sawyer. She writes lovely Christian works.
Almost Didn't Finish
I found the narrator's voice extremely irritating. If it wasn't for the story line, I wouldn't have finished. The story is a very touching one. However, the author left you up in the air at the end. I dislike this about an author. Another irritating thing, is the story is broke into two parts - when the send part started, it automatically fast forwarded past the beginning of the second part. I had to rewind it to the beginning of the second part to get to the beginning of it.
Feel good book.
I love that the author ties Gods work throughout the story. Easy listening feel good book. Keep my attention through the whole story.
Super preachy
Not a terrible story, but stops at regular intervals to awkwardly insert references to God and the bible that interrupt the flow of the story.
