Americans' trust in the once-mighty FBI -- as well as other intel and federal law enforcement agencies -- has fallen. And that's a good thing. Founding Fathers wouldn't have put blanket trust in the federal authorities, and neither should modern Americans. Besides, if anyone has been proven right over the years, time and time again, and time some more, it's been Donald Trump and his always-consistent, always-loud, always-critical call-out of the deep state as nefarious anti-American players. How right he was.
