    Luigi grew up in The Philippines. His American husband, Vid, is obsessed with the Filipino series, “My Husband’s Lover”

    Now Luigi and Vid are gonna recap the whole series together.

    My Husband's Lover tells the story of Vincent and Lally. On the surface, these two seem  to have the perfect marriage, but Vincent is harboring a secret from his wife and pretty much everyone else in his life... He's gay. When Eric, Vincent's best friend  from high school, who he had a secret relationship with, returns to the picture, Vincent begins an affair that  could cost him everything.

    In Episode 01 we learn how Vincent and Lally met. We also learn about Lally's troubled past. We also discuss the cultural impacts this show had and Luigi discusses what life was like growing up in the Philippines as a gay man. Does this show accurately represent queer life in the Philippines?
