Valerie Torregrossa has tranformed her life of trauma to be one that is dedicated to helping others heal from theirs. From a young age, Valerie has survived physical, emotional trauma that has not only affected her ikn her childhood but also followed her into her adult years.
Valerie's work experience within the last few years has been through non-profit organizations, starting off at Hillside in an all girls residential treatment unit. She then switched gears; working for The Center for Youth as a school-based employee. Valerie worked at two different schools as a crisis intervention specialist.
Valerie is now a self-employed as a photographer, helping bring people's moments of happiness on camera, but she is also starting her health and life coaching practice for various communities.
Valerie has a bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in health sciences. She recently pursued a health and life coaching certificate and is now now enrolled in a masters program to become a licensed mental health counselor.
