Today, I'm looping you in on a conversation I've been having a lot recently - the realisation that my two kids have different experiences of me as their Mother because of who and how I was when I received them. You don't have to physically have given birth for this inquiry to apply to you, you just have to have been born. Whether you are a parent - or a child or a sibling, reflecting on and acknowledging how the conditions of our birth and the ever-changing state of our parents and carers profoundly influences the landscape in which we grow and the core beliefs we carry within us.
