Held each year, on Labor Day, this picnic is held at Headwaters Park in downtown Fort Wayne. Wayne Township Trustee Austin Knox did a nice write up prior to the picnic in the Waynedale News.

We talk about a number of topics but key among them is the response he is getting from constituents who are fed up with the GOP supermajority that has had a strangelhold on Indiana for 20 years. Meet the candidate, Kevin Hunter is your choice for Allen County Council at Large in NE Indiana. We spend a half hour talking about his experience and plan for working with the Allen County Council. He is coming from a law enforcement background that enables him to build coalitions of people who can get things done. Indiana House District 5 is in north west IN. Heidi Beidinger is the candidate who will bring change to the District at the State House. We talked with Dr. Beidinger on Monday July 8th to review her plans for work to be done on behalf of constituents in HD-5. This conversation includes her positions on important topics and we also talk about her 2022 run for this same seat. She has doubled down this election cycle and is in it to win it. Heidi wants to remind voters she is in this race for all the right reasons.
