S1. E17. When we enter into a relationship with Christ do we hold expectations in our hearts? Many times we expect nothing but good things and warm feelings, when in reality there is struggle and hardship that comes with a life with Christ. We have to be willing to trust Him enough to give our whole heart and surrender our will to His.

S1. E16. Today I have Miranda DiPasquale on to talk about what it looks like to trust God. It is so difficult to place our whole lives in our hands. But we as Christians need to be willing to submit ourselves fully to Him.

S1.E15. We as Christians are not perfect, but that does not excuse sin. We are not able to take for granted Gods mercy and Love. He calls us to perfect ourself in the light of His grace.

S1 E14. There is no avoiding the suffering that comes with carrying your cross, that’s part of our faith! But there is a way to make accepting that suffering just a little bit easier and that is putting God in the center of our lives.

S1 E13. Jesus loves us to the point of death. He now asks us to pick up our crosses and die to our desires and the world.

S1 E12. Are you afraid of God’s judgment. Well depending on your choices you might not have to be. God designed us to for a purpose: to spend eternity with Him. He does not want to see anyone separated from Him. We have the choice to accept or reject salvation. What will you choose?

S1 E11. Are we better than others just because we have Christ? Are we able to condemn others or are we called to love?

S1 E10.It is easy to hate ourselves. With constant reminders from the world of how we are imperfect, it seems impossible to love ourselves. Our faith shows us a way. A way to truly love ourselves.

S1 E9. We will never be perfect. Not until we get to heaven at least. God understands this. He still wants to be in a relationship with us. He still loves and cares for us deeply. We are not called to be perfect. We called to strive to love Him, to serve Him, and to grow in a relationship with Him. We strive for perfection, but we do not give up when we realize we will never be perfect here on earth.

S1 E8. Prayer is an invitation for God into our lives. When we prayer we are telling God that we are allowing His will to be done, not ours.
