Artificial intelligence is becoming an increasingly familiar part of our everyday lives. But when it comes to our health, how much should we really trust it?
In this episode of My Little Founder Diary, I reflect on a recent news story that raised important questions about AI, medical advice and the potential consequences of relying too heavily on technology.
As a BANT Registered Nutritionist and founder of Surya Prana Nutrition, I share my thoughts on using AI responsibly, the importance of questioning health information and why natural supplements aren't necessarily suitable for everyone.
I also explore the value of professional guidance and why I believe conventional healthcare and complementary approaches should work together.
AI can be an extraordinary tool, but should it ever replace professional judgement?
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Thank you for listening to My Little Founder Diary.
How much time and energy do we waste searching for documents, managing emails and repeating everyday tasks?
In Episode 8 of My Little Founder Diary, I share three practical ways to make business — and everyday life — a little easier.
We explore:
Getting your information organised.
Creating simple processes for repetitive tasks.
Protecting your best energy for important work.
I also share how tools such as Google Workspace and AI can help simplify everyday business activities.
💡 Try this AI prompt:
“Help me simplify how I run my business. Ask me about my files, emails and repetitive tasks. Then suggest three practical, low-cost ways to improve my organisation.”
Copy the prompt into your preferred AI tool and answer its questions one at a time.
Remember to leave out passwords, confidential information and personal customer details, and review any suggestions before putting them into practice.
My question for today: What’s one system, tool or simple habit that’s genuinely made your working day or everyday life easier?
I’d love to hear your thoughts and learn from you.
🎙️ My Little Founder Diary with Kamal — Founder of Surya Prana Nutrition
Monday mornings when you’re running a small business can be quite something!
Orders to check, suppliers to contact, emails to answer, and a never-ending list of things demanding your attention.
One minute you’re the CEO making important decisions, and the next you’re crawling under a table trying to fix the label printer!
In Episode 7 of My Little Founder Diary, I share how I’m learning to manage not just my time, but my energy too.
We explore the psychology behind something called cognitive offloading, why getting everything out of your head can help, and how I use AI alongside Google Tasks and Google Calendar to bring a little structure to my working day.
I also share a simple AI prompt you can try yourself.
Because being busy doesn’t necessarily mean being productive. And sometimes, the most important thing is making time to grow your business rather than simply running it.
💡 Try this yourself: My Brain Dump AI Prompt
Take five minutes to write down everything you’ve got on your mind. Then copy this prompt into your favourite AI tool:
“I’m a small business owner. Here are my tasks for the week. Please organise them, identify my three most important priorities, and help me create a realistic plan that considers my time and energy. Highlight anything I could delegate or leave until later.”
Simply add your own brain dump underneath, leaving out any confidential or sensitive information.
Remember, AI is there to support your thinking, not replace your judgement.
💬 I’d love to know:
When Monday morning arrives, have you got everything planned out? Or, like me, do you sometimes wonder where on earth to begin?
About My Little Founder Diary
I’m Kamal, founder of Surya Prana Nutrition. In this little diary, I share the everyday realities of running a small business, the lessons I’m learning along the way, and how I’m exploring AI to work a little more intelligently.
Because behind every small business is a real person, and life doesn’t always follow the business plan.
Sometimes life forces us to slow down, even when we have so many plans and ambitions.
In 2024, I lost my beloved Papa. It was an incredibly difficult time, and although Surya Prana Nutrition continued running, I needed to step back from actively growing the business and give myself time to heal.
As business owners, we're constantly hearing about growth, success and productivity. But we're not robots, are we? We're human beings, with families, emotions and lives beyond our businesses.
In this episode of My Little Founder Diary, I share why I'm now feeling ready and excited to move forward again.
I talk about returning my focus to growing Surya Prana Nutrition, exploring new consultancy opportunities and discovering how AI is helping me feel more confident, organised and capable of tackling new challenges.
I'm still learning, and that's exactly why I've started this Founder Diary — to share what's working, what isn't and what I'm discovering along the way.
Because sometimes it's not about starting again. It's about moving forward a little differently.
💬 I'd love to hear from you: If you're running a business, what's the biggest challenge you're facing at the moment?
Perhaps we can learn a few things from each other.

Founder Diary, Episode 5
Just Keep Going ❤️
Behind every small business, there are often people quietly helping us along the way.
When I started Surya Prana Nutrition in 2017, there was so much I didn’t know about building a business.
Fortunately, I had someone very special encouraging me — my 17-year-old daughter.
Looking back, I sometimes joke that my daughter was my AI before I had AI! 😊
In this week’s Founder Diary, I’m sharing a little about the person who’s been helping behind the scenes since the very beginning.
💬 I’d love to know — who helped you keep going when things felt overwhelming?

Finding My Own Purpose
As mums, we spend so much time looking after everyone else. But what about our own dreams and ambitions?
When I started Surya Prana Nutrition in 2017, I was juggling motherhood, family life, teaching and the beginnings of a new business.
Looking back, I wonder how much today’s AI tools could have helped me find a little more time for myself.
In today’s Founder Diary, I’m reflecting on finding my own purpose amidst all those responsibilities.
💬 I’d love to know - how are other busy mums using AI to lighten the load and make more time for their own dreams?

In this episode, I reflect on how my entrepreneurial journey began and how differently things might have unfolded with today’s AI tools.

Surya Prana Nutrition Founder Diary - Are you using AI in your business?
Running a small business can sometimes feel like you’re juggling a hundred things at once!
And finding the time to network, share ideas and connect with other business owners isn’t always easy.
So I’ve decided to start a little Founder Diary, a space where I can share my experiences running Surya Prana Nutrition, what I’m learning along the way, and hopefully learn from others too.
For my first post, I’m talking about AI.
I’ve been using it for years, and it’s become an interesting part of how I run my business.
But I’m curious about your experiences.
Are you using AI in your business? And what’s been your biggest discovery so far?
I’d love to hear your thoughts. Let’s learn from each other!
