LYRICS

I used to walk down Christmastree Lane

To see the lights shining and Santa ride in his sleigh

Now there's a cloud that comes every year

He doesn't know how to show holiday cheer

My man hates Christmas

More than anyone I know

Can't stand the stockings

Avoids the mistletoe

My man hates Christmas

We haven't got a tree

There'll be no gifts

This year for me

On Christmas Eve the carolers sing

Of all the joy and all the love this season brings

But not for us -- he's not that way

Now Christmas morn is just like every other day
