We try to bring some common sense, caution, and grace to the ongoing Scarlet Letter campaign.  

Also, the NAACP has declared literacy a civil right. Was this a grandiose empty gesture, a good-intentioned reach, or the right measure at the right time?  Well MMSN knows education like Bo knows sports, and we dissect the meaning and potential impact of the NAACP's new measure.

Ready to Die turns thirty; we take a second look at the classic release and offer our current thoughts about the album and its impact.
