She gave birth to me not knowing that I had dwarfism. She and my dad had to navigate some uncharted waters with trying to figure out the best way to find the proper treatment for my skeletal deformities and had to deal with unwanted criticism from onlookers in society. Turns out my mom is incredibly strong, very compassionate, and really carried me through some of the most difficult times of my life. But I already knew that!
