Every day is a day of thanksgiving, but today I celebrate my 59th birthday. God has given me more than I could have ever imagined. I am not rich, but I am loved by Him and by so many people. God has given me the opportunity to not just know these wonderful people but to love them as well.

Reach out to someone. Maybe you can warm them with a meal, a hug, a coat, or just a word of encouragement. Heat in our bodies represents life. A dead body is cold. Give them Jesus. Give them life. Warm their hearts and allow Jesus to save their souls.

As I approach my birthday, I’ve been thinking about all God has brought me through. I sit in wonder that He would love me enough to allow me to look back and know how hard some of it was, that today, I am still here.

Whatever you are going through or have been through, allow it to draw you closer to God. 

Admit what you have done wrong and ask forgiveness. Believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again as a payment for your sins. Confess and choose to allow God to be in charge of your life. You will be built God tough.
