Jewelia’s self-produced music has garnered a warm welcome from listeners, with over 1.5 million views on her YouTube channel and 1.2 million streams on Spotify and features on editorial playlists like New Music Friday UK and Chill Pop Hits on Spotify, Rising Pop on Tidal or New in Alternative on Apple Music. Jewelia was featured in press in Clash Magazine, The Daily Star, EARMILK, Women in Pop, Honey Pop and The Vinyl District, among others. Other supporters include Amazing Radio's Charlie Ashcroft, BBC Upload's Leo Ulph and BBC Introducing's Abbie McCarthy. Her songs were played on over 50 regional radios in the UK, and received national airplay in Romania on National FM and Europa FM.
Jewelia's second album ‘Little Wins’ raised $10 000 on Kickstarter in summer 2023 and is due for release on CD, Vinyl and online platforms on April 19th, with an album launch party at The Lexington in London following two days later.

L.A.B return with their new album, L.A.B VI, the latest addition to their expanding catalogue.
After recording & releasing their first five albums in a five year span, L.A.B VI arrives after an almost 18-month period of writing, recording, tweaking & finessing their strongest album to date. L.A.B’s groove blends an eclectic mix of reggae, blues, funk, rock and electronic - all combining to create a sound entirely their own. As well as being in NZ’s Top 4 streamed artists of 2023, the group also won Best Group, Best Song & Best Album two years in a row at the New Zealand Music Awards, taking out Best Song at the 2023 Rolling Stone Awards and being voted New Zealand’s Best Live Act by Radio New Zealand.
Recorded with frequent collaborator Lee Prebble at Wellington's Surgery Studios, the album has been recorded amongst a heavy touring schedule featuring sold-out shows across NZ, Australia, the United States, the UK & Europe, including a sold-out show at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum.
Guitarist and vocalist Joel Shadbolt says, “This album, given it took two years to make, allowed us to really simmer on the songs and carve out each track as needed. Renowned British producer Fran Ashcroft has announced his forthcoming album 'The Songs That Never Were', to be released on February 23 via Think Like a Key Music. While only his sophomore album as a solo artist, Ashcroft's name stands behind dozens of other albums that have come to grace the music plane over the past few decades. Ahead of this, he presents the lead track 'Waiting For The Britpop Revival', a 2-track offering with a traditional A-side and B-side.
Longtime producer for artists big and small, and formerly of British power-pop trailblazers The Monos, Fran Ashcroft has recorded in some of the world's most renowned studios and with some iconic artists, including Damon Albarn (Blur), Abbey Road Studios, Thunderbirds Are Go!, PRT Records and Studios, Spin Jupiter Spin (Dandy Warhols), , Darling Nikkie (Lords of Acid) Big Fish Music in Japan, and Fruits Der Mer Records, to mention a few.
A treasure trove of recordings that defies time, Ashcroft describes this album as "a bridge across time" and "a collaboration between myself and me of fifty years ago", made possible by two broken tape recorders and a little bit of AI technology. Here, he ingeniously constructs a sonic viaduct spanning 50 years to allow something novel to take shape amidst the echoes of his past - one where old and new harmonise in a truly innovative yet delightfully vintage experience.
"I’ve never made a record quite like this one. Nobody has. it was like building a bridge of time between my present day self and me from 50 years ago. The song I heard in my head at 5 a.m. that morning reminded me of one I’d written many years before, which I was never quite happy with. I thought, you could almost put this new tune right over it. So I dug the old tape out of the archives to see if I was right. And I was - the chords were the same, and it was even in the same key! If I could only remove and replace the vocals on the old mono recording, it would be an entirely new song," says Fran Ashcroft.

Goldberry is a St. Louis based indie-folk band, influenced by artists such as The Staves, JOSEPH, and Jon Foreman, Sarah Frechaut and Ein Prinster met and became best friends in high school.
They both grew up in musical households and had experience playing music in church and school, but had a passion to do music in a different context-one where they could connect with people by writing and performing songs that were honest and comforting, the kind of music that was pivotal to them during hard times of their own lives. Their friendship led to the band and they started making music together in 2011 and played their first live show as Goldberry in 2015.
Amy Huff officially joined the band in 2020 after recording lead guitar for the band's debut EP, Liminal Space. Amy's been playing music since she was a child and says her favourite thing about being a guitarist is to take what others have written and add something special to it.

February 12, 2024 My Music Episode 344 - Slowmove
slowmove is an emo/alternative rock band based in Edinburgh that started in 2019. Releasing the first single “In the Dark” during lockdown of May 2020 and releasing a full EP entitled “Haven” in July of 2021 which was released by Nuclear Family Records (Wales) the two singles off of this release were entitled “Haven” and “Here and Now” which both had music videos filmed by the bands bassist David (Dai Tan Films)The band played shows all over the UK including lineups alongside StaticDress, Desolated, Kelsy Karter and the Heroines, Witch Fever, Going Off, Grivo (US) Burner and many more.
This was followed up by the 2023 release “Before we came to Know” which was released in on February 3rd which featured the singles “NightThoughts” and “Golden Stitches”
Just after the release of this EP, Rebecca joined the band on vocals and was introduced to the UK on BBC 1's “Pointless” TV show. Following this, the band has had an influx of new followers and plans to use this to promote the two new singles with Rebecca on vocals entitled“Lifeguard” releasing on February 12th and “Wish You Never” on March 18th.
