Christ paid the price for all sins, past, present and future. This can never be taken away from us once we turn our lives over to Christ.

Once that conversion takes place, our walk with Christ begins.

As a former member of the LDS Church, I looked at Christianity as way too easy. Simply accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and that is it? What about future sins? No rules or obedience requirements, nothing, no works? Sounds like a fantasy but is it really?

Today's message is about how salvation changed my life and actions, not for works, but for acceptance as a sinner and the changes that followed.

If you are saved by Grace, as the Bible says, then there is no other way to salvation.

Growing up LDS, I thought I knew what Grace, it was the Love of Christ for us.

That is just the beginning, God has Mercy on us because even though we are sinners, all of us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die for our sins, so that the barrier between man and God was broken, and through His Grace, we can return to live with God after we die.

God's Grace is unconditional and irrevocable, a free gift and when we turn our lives over to Christ, our salvation is made sure through that Grace.

Getting into a rut of determining what works you can follow and are supposed to follow leads to a serious oversight; what about the sins you commit that are not overt, or even those that are overt and yet you think your works will somehow offset them?

Dangerous thinking that your works will somehow supersede your sins and worse, negate Jesus Christ dying on the cross for all of them. Works will never give you perfection nor will it ever give you salvation.

Christ died on the cross for your sins, your journey starts with Christ the moment you accept Him!

After feeling comforted with the word "inspired", seeing that somethings were confusing regarding Church Doctrine and History I finally felt like I was back into full belief and ready to move forward.

That is until I realized, right in front of me was a lie, so obvious, it couldn't be ignored. Once finding this, right in my own Church History Books and even in the Church canon, I couldn't deny it.

The beauty of the discovery, is that I was finally able to start my journey to salvation, and so can you, once you see this glaring lie. It will allow you to put the Church down and move on once and for all and begin your New Life as a follower of Christ.

Are we born perfect or innocent? Once we seek salvation and choose to follow Christ are we perfect, do we still sin?

Is recognition of this sin part of our salvation?

Being born and raised LDS I was taught to believe that our quest here on earth was perfection, the closer we were, the better our reward in Heaven would be.

I believed the intentions of my heart, the fact that it was pure, or at least I thought it was, assured my reward was celestial glory.

As long as my desires were righteous, my salvation was a given.

I was oh so wrong!
