My Pastor Says

This week I am joined by Tiffany Peterson, who is a mom of three, a public school teacher and a committed Christian to discuss how to raise Christian kids in the public school. Special thanks to Tiffany for your time and insight!

This week we take a look at the news coming out of the Village Church this week where their pastor is temporarily stepping down. Through that story, we will consider who the church is for really and the importance of a repentant heart.

This is our first ever episode with a live studio audience! This week I am joined by around 100 high schoolers at Super Summer Camp in Salina, Kansas. They submitted questions and we went through them rapid fire.

Makenna asks how to make your faith you own on this, our 10th Episode! The four steps we discuss are Learn, Respond, Connect, and Serve! If you have a question you would like answered, email it to [email protected].

Shawn asks this week the best way to read the Bible. So we cover that, as well as a few recommendations on good bible teachers you can check out to help as you study.

Abby and Leah wanted to know the answer to the question on everyone's mind! Are there Unicorns in the Bible or not? Well, the answer may surprise you. Join pastor Dave on a magical ride to discover a magical creature.... that maybe isn't so magical after all.

It is the long-awaited return of My Pastor Says! This week we talk about Father's Day and look a little bit about how fathers can deal with their kids. If you have questions you would like to have answered, email Dave at [email protected]

As the show returns after a long break, we look at the three most common questions I have received about CoronaVirus: 1. Why would God allow this? 2. Where is he during it? 3. What should our response be to it? If you have a question you would like answered, email it to [email protected]. Stay safe one and all!

This week we look at Chris's question dealing with how to forgive someone who really hurts you in a profound way. Surely we don't have to do that right? If you want to submit your question, send it via email to [email protected], put my pastor says in the description.

I am joined by Matt Atherton, who is both my 2nd favorite brother and a worship pastor of 20 years, to discuss why it is exactly that we do worship at church every week. To have your questions answered on a later episode of the show, email [email protected]
