I interviewed Alice Bell, full time astrologer living in New York City and resident astrologer for British Vogue. 

Alice first got interested in astrology, because it helped validate certain personality traits she had always had trouble accepting. By teaching herself how to read her own birth chart, she was better able to understand her life direction as well as her relationship dynamics. Through her readings, she aims to help others see the positive side to their emotional challenges, showing them how to use their unique quirks to their advantage.

I interviewed Sara Mora, who is a storyteller, digital strategist, inmigrants rights activist, and artist. She is the founder of a Population MIC which is a think tank initiative focused on making storytelling tools accessible to storytellers and activists locally across the U.S. and globally.

In 2014, her work supporting the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy (DACA) led her to interview the president of her home country, Costa Rica. Since then, Sara has taken on many roles, using her platform and her follower base (149K and counting) to push for immigration reform and support others who are undocumented in any way possible.

Sara has also been featured in OPRAH'S 8 Young Visionaries, Seventeen Mag's 2020 Voices of the Year, in the GIRLBOSS Radio Podcast, and she's also working with Banana Republic, HBO Max, and many more!

In this episode, we talk about her story, what's like to be an undocumented immigrant in America, what DACA is and how it's like to be a DACA recipient, how she was part of a federal lawsuit against Trump in 2018 to not rescind DACA and WON (!!!), her thoughts on the Biden Administration, how much we both admire AOC (Alexandria Ocasio Cortez), the story of Population MIC, how important it is to feel represented and how the pandemic has forced her to slow down and think of everything that she has done so far!
