In this episode, I'm giving you a little life update after a busy Summer, and I'm chatting about three little words that have been on my heart and mind lately.
In this episode, Laney shares her goals for the year 2020 and how she breaks each one down into mini goals and simple starting steps. The method of taking the big picture ideas and breaking them down into bite-size chunks really is proven to be successful and effective!

Hard seasons are inevitable in life, and especially for us as Christians. There is lots to be learned during our hard seasons, and we can always be thankful for the growth and maturity that we find from perservering through hard things. I believe that the things I've learned in this particular hard season have not been just for me, but for others as well.I'm learning how to be more empathetic and compassionate to those around me, and I'm convicted that I haven't been the friend that I need to be to those around me.
I don't know where you find yourself today. Maybe you are the one struggling with something. I am praying for you that you can find HOPE and LIFE through this episode, and ultimately Jesus. Nothing else in life satisfies like Jesus. Be blessed, friends! I'm so glad you're here!

Show Notes: In this episode of My Purposeful Planning, Laney shares with us about "Me Time" and how her perspective on the whole idea has changed. She shares how she's finding more beauty and fulfillment in her every day, instead of feeling like she's overwhelmed and needs to run away. Motherhood is now seen as a blessing, not to be escaped, but embraced.
This episode features two audio blogs from Amy Roberts at RaisingArrows.net about "The Me Time Myth". Laney also shares some ideas for fitting self-care into our every day and enjoying life with our families, to the fullest.
