But I just think of my focus this year is on the eyes of Jesus.
What He's looking at, I want to look at
What He is, I want to be
What is the essence of love?
God is love, and the way He treats His children is the way I should treat His children
If I consult Him, the One that loves me most, if I consult Him, He'll give me what a good consultant does.
And all you gotta say is, Lord, I want to do it Your way. And He's like, great, let's go!
Do not anxiously look about you. Why? Because I am your God.
What's the secret? How do I do this? Well, what did Jesus say? Love God and love people.
If we don't allow God to use us, we're a brand new tool sitting in the garage, looking shiny and great, but useless.

We bring hope and encouragement, and only because He is real, and He loves you! He died not because we were sinners (although that is true and necessary!), but because we were lost daughters and sons! You have value in His eyes! What He wants from us is that we come alone to Him, for fellowship with Him, in submission, so that He can re-make us into the person He created us to be! He wants us to then go out among people and live a life that attracts others to Jesus (don't worry, you get Help with this!) What a journey! What a life! This isn't a self-help method, it isn't a prosperity gospel, it is Christ in you, the hope of Glory! What a ride! What liberation! Hallelujah!
