“My role model is Oprah Winfrey and I can understand so many things when I listen and watch her as I come from the most oppressed Oromo nation. I also admire Mogoro Jifar, the Oromo singer ”Mestawat H Qananii.
Mestawat is an exiled Oromo artist who left her country due to the political intimidation she faced  and now lives in Germany. I have known Mestawat for over 15 years and she is the kindest and most generous person to anyone in need of help.  She always stands for justice and truth. She loves her culture and Oromo art.
