The verse that changed my life
1. Men and women of the book.
119:105, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. (KJV)
2. Men and women who pray.
Matthew 6:9-15, After this manner,
therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy
kingdom comes, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day
our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive
our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory,
forever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father
will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will
your Father forgive your trespasses. (KJV)
3. Men and women of faith.
Hebrews 11:1, Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen. (KJV)
4. Men and women of a separated walk.
1 John 2:15, Love not the world, neither the things that are
in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
5. Men and women who witness.
1 Peter 3:15, But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and
be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the
hope that is in you with meekness and fear: (KJV)
6. Men and women of compassion.
Luke 10:30-37, And Jesus answering said,
A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell among thieves, which
stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half
dead. And by chance, there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw
him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise, a Levite, when he was at the
place, came, looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain
Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had
compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and
wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of
him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them
to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest
more, when I come again, I will repay thee. Which now of these three, thinkest
thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said He that
shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
7. Men and women who give.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8, But this I say, He which soweth sparingly
shall also reap sparingly, and he which soweth bountifully shall also reap
bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give;
not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is
able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all
sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
