My Take Radio

Show Notes
The countdown to 150 continues as MTR had a packed house this week.  Rich was joined by Josh Wood from MMA Valor to discuss UFC 148 and UFC on FX. The segment order was changed this week since Rich and Kevin Baird from VGN wanted to discuss the current state of gaming. Even with the subtle changes Rich still hit wrestling and movies so rest easy folks.

MTR is five shows away from the big 150. Rich was supposed to be speaking to Noel Brown from EVO 2012 but the call was rescheduled for next week .  It was a short show this week due in part to the holiday and the lack of any big news in the gaming community which is the norm during the summer.  Rich did get to share his thoughts on WWE Raw as well as Super SmackDown  and all the usual subjects.

This week Rich interviewed Combat Zone Wrestling’s Drew Gulak. Drew will be facing Danny Havoc  at CZW Proving Grounds on Saturday May 12, 2012 in a no rope barbed wire match. Drew not only shared his appreciation of social networking as an effective medium for pro wrestlers but also gave us some insight into his persona. Rich called Drew the “Thinking Man’s Wrestler”  due to the level of intelligence exhibited not only in the ring but in his understanding of pro wrestling.

Drew is extremely active on web with a presence not only in social media but in the blogging space as well.

Episode 137 was chock full of debates, callers and some swearing. Amongst that stuff we discussed Jones v. Evans and clowned Hulk Hogan a bit. We burst the Nintendo death knell as well. Movies were light this week though.
