Lisa Jackson is a running writer and Runner’s World columnist, where she writes The Flamingo Diaries. She was recently featured on the front cover of Runner's World in a major interview and photoshoot. She is the bestselling author of Your Pace or Mine? and Running Made Easy, and co-author, with her late husband Graham Williams, of the travel memoirs Travel Seekness and Travel Agents. A veteran of more than 100 marathons and two 56-mile ultramarathons, Lisa is an enthusiastic back-of-the-pack runner who often comes last. Her writing has appeared in The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, Psychologies, Red, Prima and Cosmopolitan, among others. Lisa was one of 40 people featured in The Sunday Times’ “Enriched List”, celebrating people considered “rich in experience, rich in spirit, rich in life”. She was also nominated for the 2020 Women of the Year Award. Her latest book, Still Running After All These Tears: A Runner’s Journey Through Grief, is her most personal yet. It tells the story of caring for her late husband Graham through his illness and death, alongside the devastating loss of her sister and father. Ultimately, it is a story about grief, resilience and finding a way to keep running when life falls apart.
