Black Culture is one of the most things to be proud of as a African American. We influence so much in this world but there are some negatives within the culture that we have to remove because it tears us down. Senseless violence, sexual content, negative rap lyrics that are being acted out, & the slave mindset of over caring of materialistic things. We look at these negatives as normal in our culture but it's something that is hindering us from growth. We are our own worst enemy. 

Black Hidden Figures are Scientist, Technologist, Engineers and Mathematicians. Black History Stories involve some intelligent men and women who invented things that we still use today. Black inventors such as Granville T Woods, Lewis Latimer, & Benjamin Banneker laid the foundations that changed Americas narrative that blacks weren't intelligent. Facing extreme racism and discrimination  from the patented office, Blacks still have over 50,000 patents and a lot more inventions were stolen from them. We need more black educated men and women who will change the world with their brains.

My Unapologetic Perspective Episode 50 "What Happened To Mitrice Richardson & Lavena Johnson?"   Mitrice Richardson case was never ruled a Homicide. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department made a lot of errors and had a lot of gaps in their stories about the disappearance and death of Mitrice. Was this a Cover Up? Was Mitrice Murdered? Why was the police slow to respond? Was it racism?  Private Lavena Johnson death was ruled a Suicide. The evidence paint a different Picture. Is this a military cover up of sexual assault? Was Lavena Murdered in a sexist military environment? Why has the US Army tried so hard to hold evidence from the family if this was a suicide.  There has been many cases in history that doesn't sit right with the black community. Emmett Till, Trayvon Martin, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, & Elijah Mcclain are the most talked about. But Lavena Johnson & Mitrice Richardson names and cases should not be forgotten. They also deserve justice

My Unapologetic Perspective Episode 49 " How Black Comedians Educated America."  Black Comedians educated America on the truth about America. Black Comedians were usually humiliated early on in American history with blackface. Until Comedians such as Redd Foxx, Dick Moms Mabley, Dick Gregory, Flip Wilson, Bill Cosby, & Richard Pryor brought the truth to Americas door step. Black comedians used their platform to speak about Racism, Black History, Politics, Poverty, Police Brutality, and other problems in America. They gave humor and education through eras of segregation, Jim Crow, Civil Rights Movement, & Black Power movement to change comedy and television forever.  Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Steve Harvey, Whoopi Goldberg, Dl Hughley,&  Dave Chappelle all got a platform to talk about problems in America thanks to the pioneers who went against the normal on the comedy stage. Black comedians are important to black history and American history by keeping it real authentic.   We got shows such as Flip Wilson Show Richard Pryor Show Eddie Murphy SNL Sanford & Son The Cosby Show Good Times The Jeffersons Martin In Living Color

My Unapologetic Perspective "Why They're Afraid Of Critical Race Theory " Episode 48  Critical Race theory is how the law was/is influenced by race and power. Racism is part of Americas roots and still effects African Americans through systemic racism.  Critical Race Theory has been attacked by parents and politicians for the past few years. They're afraid that truthful teachings of the past regarding racism is not important.. They're erasing black history and removing books to hide history that contradicts their glory story of American history. American Slavery, Civil Rights Movement, KKK, Jim Crow, Segregation, Redlining, Lynching, Emmett Till, Dr King, Malcolm X,  Sojourner Truth, Ida B wells, & WEB Dubois are names that are attempted to not be taught. Names like Robert E Lee, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington who owned slaves are heroes in American history. Brown Vs Board of education didn't create equality.

On This episode We interview Jaz-o discussing the origins of hip-hop, Recording his first album in London, Touring, Advice to younger artist, Hip-hop Culture and plenty of music stories.  Being from the same projects as Jay-Z, the two would meet and become friends, with Jaz-O being a rhyme mentor to Jay-Z. Sometime during the year of 1986, the two lyricists would soon form a short-lived group by the name of High Potent. Despite the group being short-lived, the two recorded and released several songs throughout 1986, before Jaz-O would go on and get a record deal with EMI USA.    Jonathan Burks (born October 4, 1964), better known by his stage name Jaz-O (formerly The Jaz), is an American rapper and record producer active in the late 1980s through the 1990s, best known for being the mentor of Brooklyn rapper Jay-Z. My Unapologetic Perspective Episode 46 "How America Was Built On Racism" Some People in America are attempting to suppress history & half way tell the truth about the history in America. Why? Because the Founding Fathers and the the individuals who came up with the principles of America were racist. Most of people who sign the declaration of independence were slave owners. Racism is a system developed into institutions that still practice racism today. The Police Departments, Judicial System, Banks, and the Education System all are rooted in white supremacy. The country was built on the backs of Blacks used for the wealth and power of whites. There is a part of white America that refuses to share that power to this day.

My Unapologetic Perspective Episode 44 Why Marcus Garvey Is Important  We have been raised on leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, Elijah Muhammad, &  Nelson Mandela but Marcus Garvey influenced them all.  Marcus Garvey and the UNIA ( Universal Negro Improvement Association ) created racial pride for Black people around the world. He created unity on Pan-Africanism that all black people help and build with each other from different parts of the world. He implemented a strong Black economy for black businesses.   Marcus Garvey is important for Black History and necessary to understand for the black future.
