A goal is the object of a person's ambition or effort or an aim or desired result.  Goal setting however is a motivation technique that is used to achieve a goal.  

Smart goals can tease out the specific details of the goal such as deadlines and the actions you need to take to achieve the goal. However in order to achieve the goal, effort needs to be exerted, things can get in the way, delays can happen.  This podcast looks at succeeding with a goal and what it is like on the journey.  

During this podcast, we will be discussing the key identifiers of what “Going beyond your Comfort Zone” looks like. The benefits of new experiences, how to cope with a new environment, and how better to strengthen your mindset in order to achieve a positive outcome.

“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world.  Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” (Rumi)  Why do I act as I do?  Why do I feel like this?  Asking ourselves “why” allows us to gain an important understanding of what motivates, influences and drives us.   In this podcast we discuss what we mean when we speak about ‘self awareness’ and how we can begin to take steps towards increasing it.  We look at the many benefits and positive impacts on one's life once we start to live in a more self aware way.  We introduce popular tools such as journaling to help us discover the answers to “why?”

Values represent our unique and individual essence, values are who we are in our lives right now.  When we honour our values on a regular and consistent basis, life is good and fulfilling. Where values are fully defined and elaborated on they are a powerful tool for people to use when approaching major crossroads in life or want to get back on track.

Confidence can come and go throughout your life but it is important to know that you never truly lose it.  If you are not feeling confident today, there are many ways to build it up.  Self-Belief builds self-esteem which builds confidence.  

So what is self-belief? And how can I change it into something positive? This podcast will explore self-belief, how it shows up in our life and how we can make it more positive.

Sometimes it can be hard to think of ourselves as courageous.  But we make many courageous decisions everyday. Learning to recognise these moments of courage offer opportunities to guide our life in a considered and informed way.
