About My View from the Middle
From the publisher's feed
Have you ever been put in the middle of things? Clowns to the left of you, jokers to the right as the song goes? Well, I have. This podcast is a collection of stories that you might…
relate to in some cases, be entertained by in others, and be made to think about in some others.
I tell of some major news events that I covered as a broadcast journalist for 40+ years like the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster or the fall of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge over Tampa Bay. I tell of some embarrassing moments like the time I spent a couple of hours at a bar with one of the greatest baseball players in history and I didn't even know who he was, and the time I had to send a letter of apology to the mayor of Orlando!
I also talk about my faith and the all-encompassing role it played in all of it.
I think you'll enjoy and appreciate My View from the Middle.
