Why am I recording this?

Welcome to my journey. Certainly not the beginning, nor the end.
In this introductory episode, I share why I’m discovering the Word of God (Allah - Glorified is He), faith, and inner grounding through the stories of Scripture. This podcast is a space for women rediscovering themselves and God as adults - honestly, gently, and with curiosity, audacity and laughter.

Along the way, I hope to explore the similarities in the stories of both the Bible and Qur’an, and connect it to the stories and lessons of myself and other women throughout the silly, stupid, laughable and awe-inspiring moments and relationships we have experienced as adult women. If you’re a woman seeking spiritual growth, personal healing, or a deeper connection with God, or (like me) you have never really read the Word of God, then this episode opens the door.
