CAMERON BAINES has fronted one of Australia's favourite Punk Rock bands, who this year celebrate their 25th anniversary!
Cam had too many stories that we decided we'd make this a two part episode... but the stories we did get - WHOA BABY! Driving around your musical idols in the boot of your car, consuming enough weed to make your producer unfit to work and travelling half way across the world with a mate as a 15 year old and happening to see a certain Ramones last performance with the band.
033 - David McBeath
DAVID MCBEATH has lived the 'rock and roll' life most people only dream about. Touring and recording in the US, getting a song in triple j's hottest 100, and pounding the skins in one of Australia's 'must see' act's of the 2000's - his band helped make the Central Coast of NSW a hot spot of live music and young up and coming bands. Hear how it all happened, from being the go to hired gun drummer to accidentally 'living the dream'.
NIKKI BRUMEN is a name that is going to be around for A LONG time! She fronts one of Australia's most hyped (and for great reason) bands - PAGAN. She's Charismatic, Smart, Passionate and most of all - a fantastic human.
I got to sit down with her before Pagan played at a local bar, right before they headed off on their 2nd trip to Europe in 6 months - to talk about (amongst other things) a very overlooked subject in todays heavy music scene - Women, and their under representation.
Have a listen to Nikki's story, about her outsider from birth beginnings - to how she's owned it - and turned it into something that younger musicians and creative types can aspire to today.

Efrem Schulz is a busy man - he fronts two hugely popular bands (Death By Stereo and Voodoo Glow Skulls), has a Podcast (Into The Weeds Podcast), is owner of a fantastic Skate Shop, which also doubles as a small venue for both local and touring bands (Programme Skate and Sound), is frontman of Manic Hispanic ( and still says he's got a few more things in the works...
I got to sit down with him before Death By Stereo played at the Hamilton Station Hotel in Newcastle... The bad news, this episode got cut short because Death By Stereo were seconds away from walking onstage... the GOOD news? We're going to record Pt2 at Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas at the end of May, so keep an eye out for that one!!

030 - ALISON MICHALK
ALISON MICHALK decided from a young age, that 9-5 wasn't for her - and she's stuck with that vision ever since. Using the lessons that punk rock taught her from a young age - she is now the founder and CEO of QUIIP, specialists in online community building, social media, high risk content and crisis management. They're also a Certified B-Corp - which means they are a business that meets the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.
I've been lucky enough to play in ISAAC GRAHAM's band for the last 8 or so years... i remember the first time seeing him, and thinking 'i need to buy all the music he has right now!' He's one of the country's most humble artists, and as 'real' as a person can get... there's zero BS, just fantastic melodies that will get stuck in your head for days!
