Myst is a puzzle adventure game designed by brothers Rand and Robyn Miller for their company Cyan and was published by Brøderbund in 1993 for (the leviathan) Apple Macintosh home computers. It was one of the first CD-ROM's, which may not sound exciting but was pretty cool back then as did the (then revolutionary) pre-rendered 3D graphics, which looked amazing on the PC screen.
